A: The 2026 Explore Incentive Trip is an exciting journey to San Juan, Puerto Rico, followed by an amazing Caribbean cruise on the Virgin Voyages Valiant Lady ship from January 22 to 31, 2026.
Q: What are the main highlights of the trip?
A: Highlights include a Puerto Rican Street Festival, multiple feature events onboard the cruise and the main attraction of the trip are the visits to beautiful Caribbean islands such as Tortola, Barbados, Martinique, Antigua, and St. Maarten.
Q: How much does the trip cost?
A: The cost is $8,299 per person for double occupancy (1 room), totalling $16,598 for a couple, and $11,399 per person for single occupancy.
Q: Can I bring my child on the trip?
A: The cruise ship is reserved for adults only. Children aged 18 and over can accompany you.
Q: Is there a dress code during the trip?
A: There is no strict dress code, but we recommend dressing smart casual for cocktails. There will be one evening where everyone is encouraged to wear red; more details will be provided later.
Q: Will there be any special events or guest speakers during the trip?
A: Yes, the trip will feature special events. Details will be provided in the program documentation and during the trip.
Q: Do you have a partnership with an insurance company to purchase cancellation insurance?
A: Yes, we partner with Manulife for cancellation insurance. Details will be provided soon, and you will be able to purchase directly through a designated website.
Q: Are there any health or vaccination requirements for the trip?
A: Currently, there are no specific vaccination requirements, but we recommend consulting with your healthcare provider for any personal health concerns. Health advisories will be communicated closer to the departure date if necessary.
Q: What is the weather like at the destination in January?
A: January marks the start of the dry season, with minimal rainfall. Expect daytime temperatures in the upper 80s and evening temperatures in the mid-60s.
Registration and payment
Q: How do I register for the trip?
A: You can register by contacting your sales representative or by filling out the registration form.
Q: What is the payment schedule?
A: Payments of $925 per couple (double occupancy) will be billed the 1st of each month from June 2024 to December 2025 on your account statement. However, the exact amount will depend on your registration details and the exact schedule will depend on your registration date. Q: Are there any incentives for signing up early or meeting specific criteria?
A: Yes, you can earn travel dollars by signing agreements, meeting sales targets, and using Premier Rewards. Details are provided in the program documentation.
Q: Can I change my registration details after I've registered?
A: Changes to registration details can be made by contacting Danyka Pinsonneault by email at evenements@bumpertobumper.ca before September 1, 2025.
Q: Is there a deadline for registration?
A: Yes, the registration deadline is September 1, 2024. We encourage early registration to secure your spot and take advantage of early incentives.
Travel requirements and policies
Q: What are the travel document requirements?
A: A valid passport with at least six months of validity beyond the return date is mandatory for all participants.
Q: What is the cancellation policy?
A: Cancellation fees vary based on the date of cancellation, ranging from 10% of the total cost if canceled before September 1, 2024, to 100% of the total cost if canceled after December 31, 2024.
Q: Can I extend my trip?
A: Yes, participants wishing to extend their vacation must contact Danyka Pinsonneault by September 1, 2024. Extension requests are subject to availability and additional costs.
Q: What should I do if I lose my passport or travel documents during the trip?
A: In the event of lost travel documents, immediately contact us or the local embassy/consulate for assistance. Keep a copy of your passport and important documents in a separate location as a precaution.
Virgin voyages registration
Q: Where is my cruise confirmation?
A: All primary travellers should now have received their cruise confirmation directly from Virgin Voyages. If you haven’t seen it yet, please check your spam or junk folder in the email account you used when registering with Essential Meetings.
Q: How do I register as a secondary traveller?
A: If you are a secondary traveller, you’ll need to register in the Virgin Voyages App using:
- Your booking number (found in the confirmation email sent to your primary traveller).
- Your last name.
- Your date of birth.
Q: Where do I find my bar tab?
A: Your bar tab and sailor loot are visible only under the primary traveller’s profile, located in the Virgin Voyage app under the “Add-Ons” tab. For a double occupancy package, you should see two separate $300 bar tabs and one $100 sailor loot.
Q: How does the secondary traveller use the bar tab?
A: To ensure both travellers can access these bar tabs, the secondary traveller must use the same credit card as the primary traveller when registering. If different cards are used, the secondary traveller will not have access to the bar tab linked to the primary account.

Q: Flight Details for Check-In
A: When completing your check-in through the Virgin Voyages Sailor App, you’ll be asked to provide your flight details. Do not fill this section until you’ve received your official flight confirmation from Essential Meetings.
Q: What embarkation time do I put?
A: You’re welcome to select any embarkation time — it won’t affect anything, as we’ll be organizing a group transfer in coordination with the cruise line (more details to come).
Trip inclusions and exclusions
Q: What is included in the trip package?
A: Inclusions are round trip airfare, airport assistance, baggage handling, transfers, hotel accommodations, meals, feature events, unlimited WiFi, and various other amenities and activities as detailed in the program documentation.
Q: What is not included in the trip package?
A: Exclusions include connecting flights, additional activities, optional excursions, travel insurance, laundry services, phone call charges, spa treatments, and medical services. Details are provided in the program documentation.
Q: Can I take a flight from a different airport closer to my home?
A: No, only the airports listed in the inclusions document are available. Any connecting flights or travel expenses to these airports are at your own expense.
Q: Are gratuities included in the trip package?
A: Yes, gratuities for included services are covered in the trip package. Any additional tips for optional services are at your discretion.
Q: Will there be Wi-Fi available during the trip?
A: Yes, unlimited Wi-Fi is included in your package for both the stay in San Juan and onboard the cruise for one device per cabin.
Q: Is it possible to buy an unlimited alcoholic beverage package?
A : Virgin Voyages does not offer an all-inclusive unlimited drinks package. However, you do have a $350 USD per person credit included in your package that can be used to purchase alcoholic beverages. We also have many evening events that include unlimited alcoholic beverages for a certain number of hours.
Earn backs (Travel dollars)
Q: If I cancel my trip, can I get a credit for my accumulated Travel Dollars?
A: No, all travel dollars you earn are specifically intended to be used for the Explore 2026 incentive travel. They are exclusive, non-transferable, and not exchangeable for cash. In the event of trip cancellation, these dollars cannot be recovered or claimed.
Q: Is there a maximum number of Travel Dollars I can accumulate?
A: Yes, participants can accumulate travel dollars up to the amount covering two packages of the Explore 2026 Incentive Travel Program (i.e., a maximum value of $33,196).
Q: Can I use Travel Dollars for upgrades during my trip (flight seats, rooms, etc.)?
A: No, travel dollars are specifically dedicated to covering the cost of registration.
Q: Can extra Travel Dollars be credited or used for something else?
A: No, all travel dollars you earn are specifically intended to be used for the Explore 2026 incentive travel. They are exclusive, non-transferable, and not exchangeable for cash.
Q: Can I use my Travel Dollars to pay for connecting flights?
A: No, travel dollars are specifically dedicated to covering the cost of registration.
Q: Can I use my Travel Dollars to invite one of my ASPs?
A: Absolutely, but the trip must be within your maximum purchase of two packages with your dollars.
Q: Can I transfer my Travel Dollars to another participant if I am unable to attend?
A: No, Travel Dollars are non-transferable and must be used by the individual who earned them.
Q: I'm a new member, how can I earn Travel Dollars without comparison numbers for 2023?
A: New members must provide proof of purchase for the baseline period (from July 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024). Uni-Select management will set the quota to be reached in 2025 for this new member.
