Bomba dancers and drummers will flank the walkway into the party area creating a lively and dynamic environment to entertain guests as they arrive. This combined with all the festival characters will add an amazing spectacle right as the party begins. This wonderful Puerto Rican Street Festival event will create a lasting impression for all guests. All the colour, history, excitement, activities and sounds that give Puerto Rico its truly unique flavour will be present this evening. Puerto Ricans are known for their strong cultural events and festivals worldwide.
Built in 1854, La Princesa, the former San Juan penitentiary now serves a the main office for the Puerto Rico Tourism Company. Surrounded by majestic trees, sculptures and with the wall of San Juan majestically in the background it is a lovely site, which showcases Puerto Rico’s cultural roots.
